16th June 2025, Ministry Update: Supporting the Work on the Ground – Agape OVC

We are excited to share an important update from the field and bring to your attention a growing need in our ministry work. As many of you know, our heart is with the children at Agape OVC, and it has been a blessing to see them grow spiritually through consistent encouragement, Bible teaching, and fellowship.

For the past two months, our dedicated Minister, Pastor Philip, has been faithfully traveling between Tororo, Uganda, and Mayombe—home to Agape OVC. This is not a small distance, yet he has taken it upon himself to make this journey week after week. His mission: to minister to the children, motivate them, lead Bible studies, and preach the life-changing message of the Gospel.

Pastor Philip’s commitment has been unwavering. Even without a formal arrangement or guaranteed support, he has willingly covered long distances, poured into the lives of these young ones, and brought spiritual nourishment where it’s needed most. We are truly grateful for his heart and the example he sets.

However, this dedication comes with a cost. Each week, we’ve been stretching our already tight weekly expenses just to reimburse his travel costs. We are now reaching out to you—our faithful friends and partners—to ask for a little help. If we can raise even a small amount, $50 weekly to consistently cover his bus fare, we can ease a significant burden off his shoulders and allow him to focus more on the ministry rather than the logistics.

This is not just about transportation. It’s about making sure that the children at Agape OVC continue to receive the Word of God, the encouragement they need, and the mentorship that Pastor Philip brings with him every time he steps into their lives.
