We are excited to share an important update on the Chicken Coop Project at Messianic Hope Orphanage in Gilgil! Thanks
We are pleased to share that the children in our orphanages have returned to school for the first term of
As we continue to pray for our dear friend and family in California during these terrible wildfires…. Let’s remember… And let’s focus on what was told to us what would happen during these end days according to scripture.
Our primary need at this time is to make some essential electrical upgrades. We are seeking a total of $1,600 to cover the cost of these necessary improvements. This amount will be used for the following:
Solar Panels: Agape OVC currently relies on solar power to provide electricity; we did the first phase sometimes back and everything is working efficiently…To ensure a stable and efficient energy source, we aim to purchase and install two more additional solar panels…
LED Lighting: The dining hall has been operating with outdated lighting, and we plan to replace these lights with energy-efficient LED lights, which will reduce energy consumption and improve visibility.
Kitchen Lighting: The kitchen has never had any lighting since its completion…we plan to install LED lights in this area to improve working conditions and safety for the staff and children.
As we embark on the second phase of the project, we are excited to share the progress we’ve made and outline the next steps in our journey toward sustainability. This phase includes the addition of five more water tanks, the setup of an irrigation system, and the provision of labor and other essential logistical support. The total cost to complete this phase is $1,200, which will cover the purchase of the tanks, the irrigation setup, and the associated labor costs. This investment will ensure that the garden boxes continue to thrive and provide consistent food production for the orphanage, while also contributing to their long-term self-sufficiency.
