9th January 2025 : A Request for Electrical Upgrade at Agape OVC – Support Needed – $1600

Hello everyone, we hope this message finds you well. We are reaching out to you with an important request regarding the electrical infrastructure at Agape OVC in Uganda. As you may know, Agape OVC is a vital center that provides shelter, nourishment, and education for children in need. However, there are several areas where improvements are urgently needed to enhance the functionality and sustainability of the center.

Our primary need at this time is to make some essential electrical upgrades. We are seeking a total of $1,600 to cover the cost of these necessary improvements. This amount will be used for the following:

  1. Solar Panels: Agape OVC currently relies on solar power to provide electricity; we did the first phase sometimes back and everything is working efficiently…To ensure a stable and efficient energy source, we aim to purchase and install two more additional solar panels…
  2. LED Lighting: The dining hall has been operating with outdated lighting, and we plan to replace these lights with energy-efficient LED lights, which will reduce energy consumption and improve visibility.
  3. Kitchen Lighting: The kitchen has never had any lighting since its completion…we plan to install LED lights in this area to improve working conditions and safety for the staff and children.

If we are fortunate enough to raise additional funds, we would like to further enhance the center by purchasing a smart TV and establishing internet connectivity. This would allow us to conduct Zoom meetings and offer regular Bible teachings, which are crucial for the spiritual and educational development of the children.

We are grateful for the continued support of our partners, and we humbly ask for your prayers and assistance in making these upgrades a reality. Your generosity will help us create a more comfortable and functional environment for the children at Agape OVC.

Baruch Hashem…
