THE PSYCHOLOGICAL ISSUE

So many churches teach about generational curses…BUT HAVE NO CLUE as to the root cause actually being psychological damage!

And as we are looking at leadership abuse in so many churches right now…BELIEVE ME…

This is DEFINITELY the message that needs to be told.

Morally, there is FIRST the sin of Adam, our inherent condition…

SECOND, the sin of our parents in which a cycle exists…and…

THIRD, our own sin…which by the way is our choice you cannot blame the devil or demons.

Living in disobedience and independence of God WILL REAP CONSEQUENCES…

But Yeshua makes clear NOT ALL tragic circumstances are the result of sin.

There is…However…Something inside us that says a universal moral law exists in which bad things are going to happen to bad people.

Scripture certainly addresses this issue, particularly in the Old Testament Tanakh.

 Exodus/ Sh’mot 34:6-7 says…Adonai passed before him and proclaimed YUD- HEH-VAV-HEH!!! Yud-heh-vav-heh (Adonia) is God, merciful and compassionate, slow to anger, rich in Grace and truth… Showing Grace to the thousandth generation, forgiving offenses, crimes and sins…Yet not exonerating the guilty, but causing the negative effects of the parents’ offenses to be experienced by their children and grandchildren, and even by the third and fourth generations.”

IN THE HEALING OF THE BLIND MAN, this is the attitude the religious leaders had.

They accuse this man of being steeped in sin since birth…whether an illegitimate child or born of sinful parents…. It was definitely a stab in the dark…a rationalization against this man’s defense of Yeshua…

” In all history no one has ever heard of someone’s opening the eyes of a man born blind. If this man were not from God, he couldn’t do a thing.” Yochanan/ John 9: 32-33 CJB

The sins of parents, however, do visit their children…But not so much in the way it is taught in churches today…

Psychologists will always inquire about the background and UPBRINGING, of their patients.

For instance…what kind of relationship do they have with their parents?

Also, if there is a history of abuse and neglect past from one generation to the next… 

To a psychologist with a UNBIBLICAL WORLDVIEW…These issues may seem unsurmountable and need a lifetime to try and resolve…

But for people with a biblical world view we know different.

God said to Jeremiah…”When those days come, they will no longer say, ‘ the parents have eaten sour grapes, and the children’s teeth are set on edge.” Yirmeyahu / Jeremiah 31: 29 CJB

In Yeshua we are a new creation and in Union with Him, He brings us into conformity with His Will and Purpose, and change begins to take place.

And this is the TRUE MEASURE that tells you if in fact people ARE TRULY born again or not.

 We must remember we are all individuals…On different individual journeys …SO BE CAREFUL…NOT to push your journey on someone who’s journey is NOT yours.

ADONAI does not use us as pawns on a chess board….

We are all individuals with all the dignity, value, and love that God pours into us…but in life things happen…

Looking for someone to blame is taking a backward look, which only serves to frustrate, provoke self-pity and stagnate our spiritual growth…

Many of us have troubled pasts…

BUT ALSO…some of us never had a troubled past but we are going through some type of abuse right now…maybe even from people in your own church or congregation…

For those who have a troubled past we can’t rewrite history…But we CAN certainly CHANGE the FUTURE.

For those of us who had a great past but are now facing challenges of abuse and attack…

Remember who you are in Yeshua….

THEY PERSECUTED HIM THEY WILL PERSECUTE YOU!

This battle is NOT your own… 

STAND STEADFAST on the Rock of God’s WORD.

And remember in every circumstance…

“THIS HAPPENED SO THAT GOD MAY BE GLORIFIED !! “

ALWAYS REMEMBER… WE ALLOW GOD TO BE GOD IN OUR LIVES HE BRINGS ABOUT THE CHANGE…

HE CREATES THE NEW HEART WITHIN US…

HE IS THE ONE THAT MAKES ALL THINGS NEW!!!
