27th August 2025: Urgent Needs: Van Repair & Bible Distribution for Burundi and Congo

First and foremost, we want to take a moment to thank every single one of you who has walked this journey with us. Your faithfulness, prayers, and sacrificial giving have made an incredible difference. Whether you’ve been with us from the start or joined somewhere along the way, please know that we are deeply grateful—we don’t take your support for granted. Every soul reached, every community touched, and every ministry milestone achieved has been possible because of your partnership.

It’s because of your support that we are able to keep going, even when challenges arise. And today, we want to share a few important updates with you, and invite you to stand with us once again in a few key areas where your support can make a big difference.

Urgent: Getting Our Ministry Van Fixed

Our ministry van has been the unsung hero of so much of what we do. From delivering food supplies, transporting ministry materials, to carrying team members for outreach—it’s a core part of our daily mission work. Recently, we serviced the filters, hoping that would solve the issues we were experiencing. Unfortunately, the problem has persisted.

We sought a second diagnosis, and now it’s clear: the van needs a new transmission pump and torque converter.

The estimated cost to get both replaced is $550.

This repair is urgent. Without the van, our ability to deliver supplies and reach out to communities is severely limited. We’re really looking to get the van back on the road as soon as possible, and we’re asking for your support to help make that happen.

Bibles for Burundi and Congo

Another immediate and deeply important need is getting French and Swahili Bibles to our Burundi and Congo congregations.

We’ve recently planted a new congregation in Burundi, a small but vibrant and hungry community. Our plan is to begin Bible distribution there and then extend into Congo, where we already have a trusted minister who can receive and distribute the Bibles to our network safely.

We are aiming to ship Bibles for both regions in one go, starting with Burundi. The total cost of this shipping and distribution is $1,260. So far, we’ve raised $60, which means we are currently fundraising for the remaining $1,200.

These Bibles are not just books—they are lifelines. Many people in these regions have never owned a Bible in their own language. This investment is directly planting the Word of God into hearts and homes.

Our Ongoing Need for Steady Partners

Finally, we want to share a recurring need that remains close to our hearts—the call for steady, consistent partners. Week after week, we stretch resources to meet ministry demands, and having a base of steady support would help tremendously in sustaining our operations and reaching more people.

We are praying and believing for at least 20 partners who can commit to giving just $20 a week. This would cover a large portion of our recurring ministry needs and ease a significant burden off our team.

Maybe that partner is you. Or maybe it’s someone you know who has a heart for missions. Please consider helping us spread the word.

Baruch Hashem.
