As we enter into this new year, may we have the power to stand strong in the face of the upcoming adversities.

We have not been given a spirit of fear but that of sound mind.

Many churches for the last 20 or 30 years have been teaching only a very small part of the power of the Holy Spirit / Ruach HaQuodesh.
Almost 100% focused on these apparent gifts such as prophecy, speaking in tongues, and healing.
Completely missing the boat on end time power.

It is unbelievable how many Christians are running in fear over these things that are happening that have been put forth as tests.
So afraid of losing this life, and not remembering the eternal life promise.

The great tribulation even the birth pains are not God’s wrath or judgement……
Rather this is pressure put upon us, allowed by G-d, in order to bring Nations and people to repentance.

There is only one source of power that will ever get you through these trials, and I hope you enjoy this teaching.

THE POWER WE RECEIVE

” But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you……”. NLT Acts 1:8

In the 40 days leading up to Yeshua’s ascension, He no doubt meditated and planned His last Words to His Talmidian/ disciples.

He says in Acts 1:8, ” But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, AND TO ALL ENDS OF THE EARTH. ”

NOW BEFORE I GO ANY FURTHER IN THIS TEACHING…. FOR THOSE MESSIANIC JEW’S WHO LIKE TO FOCUS ON THE WORDS TO THE JEW FIRST AND THEN THE GENTILES….
REALLY PRAY ABOUT THESE WORDS FROM MESSIAH BEFORE HE LEAVES EARTH…. ” SAMARIA, AND ALL THE ENDS OF THE EARTH”

These were purposeful words, meant to ring in the ears of all of His followers, all Ekclesia, from the moment He ascended to heaven until the moment He returns with a sword!

The first part of Yeshua’s last words has to do with the power of the Holy Spirit / Ruach HaQuodesh.
Whatever else the Spirits activity is going to be in our lives and in this world, it will have to do with POWER.
The word Yeshua uses for power here is the Greek ” Dunamis,” from which we get our English words ” dynamic ” and ” dynamism. ”
It means power in the sense of sheer energy, force and ability.
BUT INTERESTINGLY, Yeshua used a different word for power, …. ” Exousia ” …. When He introduced the Great Commission. Remember this was what I was teaching on last week the Great Commission.
“Exousia ” means power in the sense of authority, as in, ” All authority in heaven and on Earth has been given to Me ” Mathew 28:18.

So let me explain this better.
Authority without dynamism is pathetic.
It is like a bus driver who has the authority to tell a disruptive passenger to get off the bus, but not the ” dynamism” to make them get off the bus.
On the other hand,
” Dynamism ” without authority is dangerous!
This is the power of terrorism! …… Which engages in displays of dynamic Force…… Without the backing of legitimate authority!

As I look at what is happening in Afghanistan…. I am wondering to myself if these Christians who came to preach the good news actually understand what this news encompasses?
Do they not realise whose authority they are walking in?

What we need is for the two powers ” Exousia and Dunamis,” to come together.
Because of their position in the eyes of the law, police officers have both the authority and the dynamism to uphold the law. Something that we see society is trying to take from police officers especially in the United States.

To an infinitely greater extent, Yeshua Hamashiach Adonai has both the authority to declare ….and the dynamism to make it happen!!!
Do we not remember the three Hebrew boys in front of the fiery furnace? Did they not display both powers? …
