Is believing for a miracle accurate according to what Messiah taught?And what really truly constitutes what we would call a pharisee?

Baruch Hashem. I am finally getting some time to write a teaching today. And I’m going to teach on what I believe is a very important topic especially among those who call people who obey the law modern-day Pharisees. Most of the time I am hearing this from Christians who go to a church or congregation that seem to focus a lot on healing and prosperity and other miracles. Is believing in a miracle accurate according to what Messiah taught? And what truly constitutes what we would call a pharisee? I am praying that you will see what I see as a modern-day pharisee, actually being portrayed more so in the modern-day born-again miracle-working healing churches than you do in any Hebrew roots or Messianic congregation. THE EVIDENCE OF ELOHIM / G-D

” Then some P’rushim and Tz’dukim came to trap Yeshua by asking Him to show them a miraculous sign from Heaven. ” Mattiyahu / Mathew 16 :1 The P’rushim / Pharisees and Tz’dukim / Sadducees where are at opposite ends of the Jewish religious spectrum and a strange coalition of antagonists who came to test Yeshua by asking Him for a sign from Heaven. The Pharisees / P’rushim were the Fundamentalists of their day who lived by the smallest detail of the law. To keep them from breaking it, they built protective fences around the law. I will give you an example in one of today’s modern-day Pharisees. An ultra-orthodox Jew flying into Tel Aviv has to fly over a cemetery. Knowing this ahead of time this person brings plastic to put underneath him on his seat….. and then another piece of plastic to cover over the top of him as he flies over the cemetery in order to not be unclean. Just the same as back then even today they are legalists par excellence !! The Sadducees / Tz’dukim were and still are today the liberals. They prided themselves on independent thought and saw it as a virtue to dispute with their teachers. We see the same arguments, which are known as midrash, today on many street corners in Israel among the sages. They accepted the written law of Moshe, but rejected the scribal and traditional laws that had grown around them and that give substance to the P’rushim / Pharisees position. The Pharisees believed in angels, demons, and the Resurrection of the body, the supernatural, and the afterlife, which in modern times has evolved to what we know as Kabbalah. The Tz’dukim / Sadducees believed none of this. The bottom line these are very strange bedfellows that came together in opposition to Yeshua Hamashiach. As has been said, two dogs will fight each other until a rabbit runs by. The dogs will drop their fight and chase the rabbit. Lol In this case, Yeshua was the rabbit, and hostilities toward each other were suspended in their shared resentment of Him. Yeshua’s response was consistent with His response to all the demands for signs and miracles. Earlier, He had told them the only sign given them is the sign of Nevi’im / Jonah. He said, ” A wicked and adulterous generation asks for a miraculous sign! But none will be given it except the sign of the prophet Jonah. For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of a huge fish, so the Son of Man will be three days and three nights in the heart of the Earth. ” Matthew 12 verses 39 and 40 NLT. What we need to understand is the Cross of Yeshua Hamashiach, and not be preoccupied with signs and wonders. And the same goes for those Torah police who are bashing people over the head about how to keep the biblical feasts and holidays and calendars. We can see a correlation from this on both sides of the fence when it comes to pointing out what an actual Pharisee looks like !! There are many facets to the life and ministry of Yeshua, but to make miraculous signs and wonders the basis of our interest in Him is to miss the main point and distort His message !!! THIS IS WHY THE EKKLESIA IS NOT CALLED TO PREACH SIGNS AND WONDERS, NOR A SOCIAL AND POLITICAL AGENDA OR A LIFESTYLE. These may be legitimate issues and an outworking of the Gospel, but the evidence of Elohim, which we are to preach, IS IN THE MIRACLE OF YESHUA HAMASHIACH CRUCIFIED, BURIED, AND RAISED TO LIFE. The true message of the entire Bible leading to the Gospel marginalizes us, but when embraced it transforms lives! This is the true gospel that the Apostle Paul / Rav Saul speaks of!

Our Prayer

Heavenly Father I don’t need any miraculous signs and wonders. Your life dwells in me and that is Miracle enough for me !! I know everything that happens in this life good or bad You Are In Control and guide my steps. Thank You Adonai Amein[/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][/et_pb_section]
