Ministry Update – Agape OVC, Uganda: Fence Restoration Completed, New Needs Ahead

Greetings to all our faithful friends and partners in ministry,

We are excited to bring you a fresh update from our ministry efforts in Uganda, particularly the progress at Agape OVC (Orphans and Vulnerable Children). We are grateful to report that the fence which was recently damaged by the heavy rains has now been fully repaired and completed! This has been a significant and necessary task, and we’re thankful for everyone who supported this effort in prayer, giving, and encouragement.

The completion of the fence has brought a renewed sense of security and stability for the children and staff. For those who would like to see the work firsthand, we’ve attached video clips showing the restoration process and the finished project. It’s a joy to see the children playing safely again within the boundaries of a secure compound, and we praise God for His provision through your generosity.

As we celebrate this milestone, we also look ahead to our next goals and needs. One of the pressing challenges we face is the need for better technology and access to virtual resources. Currently, the children are using a small laptop for Zoom meetings and educational content. While we’re grateful to have it, the screen size and capacity are not ideal for the number of children we have at Agape OVC.

We are now hoping to provide a 48-inch TV and internet connectivity to improve their learning and engagement, especially during virtual Bible studies, lessons, and connection calls with supporters. This will allow the children to be more involved, comfortable, and better served through digital ministry and education.

To make this possible, we need to raise $1,200. This amount will cover the purchase of a quality television and set up reliable internet access for the center. It’s a one-time investment that will have a lasting impact on the children’s spiritual growth, education, and their connection with the broader ministry family.

In the midst of these efforts, we’re encouraged to see that local people in the area have also been stepping up to help in various ways—offering their time, resources, and even physical labor. The community support is growing, and it’s beautiful to see how God is stirring hearts to care for these young ones.

That said, the financial need is still very real. While we continue to experience local involvement, the sustainability of the ministry still greatly depends on the support of people like you who feel called to invest in these children’s lives from afar. We invite you to prayerfully consider partnering with us financially, whether through a one-time gift toward the $1,200 goal or by becoming a monthly supporter. Every bit helps move the vision forward.

At Agape OVC, we believe that no act of kindness is too small when done in love. Your prayers, giving, and encouragement continue to bring hope, healing, and joy to children who have faced much hardship. Thank you for being part of their story and ours.

Let’s continue to labor together in love as we seek to meet both the physical and spiritual needs of these precious lives. We’re trusting God for the next step, and we’re confident He will provide—as He always has.

God’s richest blessings to you and your families…

Baruch Hashem.
