Warm greetings to all our dear friends and partners in the field!
We are grateful to God for each one of you who continues to walk with us in this journey of service and compassion. Your prayers, encouragement, and generous support have enabled us to reach communities with hope, love, and practical help. Today, we are delighted to share that our Ministry family is growing. We are having a few friends who are now joining our line of Ministry, bringing fresh passion, commitment, and hands ready to serve. As we expand our reach, we are also expanding our compassion—responding to more needs and stepping into new opportunities to serve.
However, we must humbly acknowledge that we cannot do this without financial support. As the vision grows, so do the logistical demands—transport, accommodation, supplies, outreach materials, and coordination costs. For this reason, we are prayerfully seeking more financial partners to stand with us. Together, we can do so much more than we could ever accomplish alone.
Recently, we were honored to host Brother Paul Wilburn from the USA, who was here for Ministry work in Kisumu, Kenya. His visit was a great encouragement as we engaged in outreach, fellowship, and strategic discussions on strengthening our impact in the region. We are also currently having Pastor Philip Njoroge from Uganda, who is en route to Tanzania for Ministry work. These visits reflect the growing network of servants committed to advancing this shared vision across borders. We are deeply encouraged by the unity and collaboration we are witnessing.
In light of the increasing Ministry activities and travel, we are looking at setting up a dedicated Ministry Fund. This fund will help support all logistical expenses related to our outreach efforts, visiting ministers, and field operations. Having a structured fund will allow us to respond promptly and effectively whenever opportunities for service arise.
One of our pressing concerns at the moment is the need for Bibles for orphans living in refugee camps in Uganda. We had previously explored the possibility of relocating and setting up an orphanage in Busia, close to where we have Agape OVC Home. Unfortunately, our efforts were stalled due to administrative challenges, particularly with UNHCR, the UN outfit currently overseeing those camps. (Kindly refer to our previous post for more details on this matter.)
While we continue to seek long-term solutions, the least we can do right now is ensure these children have access to the Word of God and a few essential supplies. Many of them are French-speaking, and we are therefore looking at providing French Bibles along with basic necessities. To make this possible, we are currently fundraising for $1,200. This amount will help us purchase and distribute Bibles and other supplies to these precious young lives. We kindly ask you to consider becoming part of this noble cause. You can always reach out to us for assistance in channeling your contributions, or simply use the donate buttons available across the different segments of our website.
Another top priority is the ongoing construction of the Village Widows/Women Shelter. We are excited to report that the progress is steady and encouraging. We are just finishing the foundation and are almost ready to begin the walls. This is one of our most ambitious projects to date. Currently, we are fundraising for $90,000 to bring it to completion. We are working with very few partners at the moment, and progress depends entirely on the pace at which funds come in.
For those who are just joining us, this facility will include a Medical Centre/Dispensary, Sewing Shops, and a range of income-generating activities. These initiatives are designed to equip women with practical, hands-on skills that lead to self-sufficiency. Our goal is to restore dignity, independence, and purpose—creating a place where healing is paired with opportunity, and where hope is renewed through meaningful action.
We warmly invite you to partner with us in this noble cause. Whether through prayer, financial support, or sharing our mission with others, your involvement makes a tangible difference.
Thank you to every friend and partner who continues to stand with us. We are deeply grateful for your faith, generosity, and unwavering support. Together, we are building lives, restoring hope, and extending compassion where it is needed most.
