LIVING IN THE FULLNESS OF MESSIAH

Good morning from here in Kenya.
Not very often I bother to weigh in on controversial subjects such as Easter and Christmas.
Because usually there is an ocean of arguments between the people calling Christians pagan, and the Christians are calling the Messianic or Hebrew roots pharisees…… and in the end there is no fruit from these arguments.

Before you can lead a horse to water you must realise, you can do this, but that doesn’t mean you’re going to force them to drink.

When I watch these arguments I notice one thing for sure…..
95% on both sides don’t realise, don’t even comprehend the Deep meaning of Passover.

Passover is not a Jewish thing……
It is a G-d thing ??
The Israelites spent 40 years in the desert still not getting it, the first generation died, the Next Generation only a few people make it to the promised land, I hope this is not history repeating itself !!!!

Enjoy the teaching :

LIVING IN THE FULLNESS OF MESSIAH

” Therefore, let us be terrified of the possibility that, even though the promise of entering His rest remains, any one of you might be judged to have fallen short of it ……”
Hebrews / Messianic Jews 4 :1 CJB

“Typology ” is a New Testament truth that is portrayed in the Old Testament Tanakh revealed.
It is both helpful and interesting to link all the foreshadowing of the Tanakh Old Testament images and events leading to Yeshua Hamashiach.
For example, in the Exodus story, there are several typologies that depict Messiah as our Savior, our assurance and our life.

On the evening before the Israelites were released from bondage, each family was to sacrifice a year old male lamb without defect and smear its blood on the doorpost of their houses.
Hashem’s last plague on Egypt was the Angel of Death, which would strike every Egyptian home, claiming their first born son as well as the firstborn of every animal, but would pass over Hebrew homes marked in blood. The was and is ” PASSOVER. “

The Israelites crossing the Red Sea on dry ground is a type of Mitzvah / Baptism, which Rav Saul/ Paul writes about in the Brit Quo’desh / New Testament.
” for I do not want you to be ignorant of the fact, brothers and sisters, that our ancestors were all under the cloud and that they all passed through the sea. ” 1st Corinthians 10 : 1-2
This portrays a beautiful picture of baptism, because it is where the Israelites left their old master and came into new life and freedom.

In the wilderness, Hashem fed His people with manah.
This was debated centuries Later by Jews who said to Yeshua, ” Our ancestors are the manna in the wilderness; as it is written: He gave them bread to eat” Yochanan / John 6:31.
Yeshua answered : ” I am the bread of life. Your ancestors ate the manna in the wilderness, yet they died. But here is the bread that comes down from Heaven, which anyone may eat and not die ” Yochanan / John 6:48-50.
The manah is also a picture of Messiah.
In addition Hashem caused fresh water to pour out from a rock.
Again Rav Saul Paul writes: ” …… they drank from the spiritual rock that accompanied them, and that rock was Hamashiach ” 1st Corinthians 10 : 4.

In the Brit Quo’desh New Testament, Egypt is a picture of being bound in sin. The Passover lamb is Yeshua Hamashiach Himself dying for us ; the Red Sea is baptism / Mitzvah into Messiah; the Manah from the sky…… “and He will come through the clouds” …. and water from the rock….. ” I am the water from which you will never thirst again ” I am the rock on which you will build ” is Yeshua Hamashiach Himself; and Canaan is obviously a picture of the Promise of the new Jerusalem…..
Where He will rule for a thousand years.
Where we will rest in His sufficiency !
This is a spiritual journey for every Messianic Believer, which involves combining the Gospel message, with that of the Old Testament Tanakh, and connecting it with our trust and Faith.
These things that we do during the Passover time are not rituals that we just blindly do without understanding.
Getting the leaven out of our lives symbolises repentance and knowing that in the last year we have fallen and slid back into whatever idolatry or sin we have allowed to seep.
Baptism is not a once-in-a-lifetime thing it is a every day and every year we cleanse from the unclean, and we come out clean from that which is unclean.
It is at this time we mark our doorpost with the blood of the Lamb and pass over into a new year….. one that will meet us with more challenges and more struggles but we will be strengthened and renewed and washed clean. This is a dress rehearsal for the new millennium.
We know we have come into Cannan when we are no longer anxious about today, tomorrow or any day.
We enter with no fear because,….. this not only speaks of our dependency on Yeshua Hamashiach, ……but living in the fullness of Yeshua Hamashiach.
Don’t be one of those who will perish in this desert !!
Baruch Hashem

Our Prayer Heavenly Father
I would like nothing more than to enter Canaan now and into the new millennium.
Help me live in Your fullness, completely dependent on and trusting of You.
Thank You Adonai Amein
