Weekly Updates

31st October Update: Electrical upgrade done; our progress on the Vocational Classroom and an appeal for School Fees for the New Academic Year..

Good morning everyone, this is our highlights to keep you updated on the progress in our Orphanages.

The progress is fairly good, we sincerely thank all our partners who are always on board to keep us moving. The Vocational Classroom is at its homestretch, we are only remaining with little to do and we will be up and running fully; probably at the end of this weekend. We also did the electrical upgrade for the two offices and got a few more tools for the Vocational Class, everything is taking shape.  Attached below this update are videos attesting to the same.

Also this weekend, we have prepared a little treat for the kids at Gathaithi OVC. We will be having a barbeque treat, ice-cream and some fun games – bouncing castles and trampoline. It’s the end of the Academic year and we deemed it fit to treat these kids to something they rarely have. It will also be the end of the National exams for the Grade eight pupils who will now be proceeding to secondary school.

It is always hectic for these kids pulling through the academic year; having something to cheer and lighten them up is the least we can do.

Having said that, we are also fundraising for the new Academic year for both Orphanages – Gathaithi OVC and Agape OVC. We need $470 for this. This amount is inclusive of school fees and other school supplies.

New academic years comes hard on us and we really need more partners to help us out. Kindly share this immediate appeal with your friends, family, church members and anyone willing to impact the lives of these kids. We still have very few partners to help us even with the weekly supply of basic needs and this is also an area that we are still calling for more partners.

Thank you and God bless.
