11th June Update – Agape OVC, Uganda: Plastering/Smooth Coating Done at the Kitchen, Main Building and the Dormitories…Our next goal is buying the neighbouring land, the one we are currently renting…

Hello everyone, here is a brief update on the progress at Agape Orphanage in Uganda…

First is to send our immense gratitude for all of your support. After the completion of a Modern Kitchen, we started off with the plastering/smooth coating at the kitchen, on the inside and outside. We also did the Main building and the Boys’ and Gilrls’ Dormitories. All these is now done, as you can see from the attached videos below.

Onto our next project – we are looking at buying the larger plot of land, neighbouring the one that the Orphanage is currently sitting on. We are currently renting the same land but we are in the process of getting the owner to sell the piece to us; and he is willing to. On this, we are fundraising to get $16000 to enable us do this.

We are hoping to get this as soon as possible and start working on the Dining Hall, to make it to a permanent structure. Kindly help us do this.

Lastly, is our weekly call to get the weekly needs. It’s one thing we usually struggle with – getting our weekly supplies. We ran a budget of $1400 for both Orphanages, it’s the best we can do. We are calling for more dedicated and steady partners on this.
